Dual (Single) carriage Gantry

Arcmatic Dual (Single) Carriage Gantry reduce welding time on beams, girders, box columns and other longitudinal

welding applications.

The Arcmatic Gantry's are fully customized and can be designed to weld hundreds of feet. Using Arcmatic's

standard modules allow quick customizations and easy maintenance.

Here are the main gantry options :

• Subarc (or MIG)

• Dual (or single) carriage

• The single HMI (Human Machine Interface) can control all movements, welding setup, welding parameters,

   probe subsystem, flux delivery and power supply.

 • Single, Twin, Tandem or Tandem Twin heads on each carriage

• Wire straightener - motorized and synchronized rotation speed with the Wire feed speed

• Contact or non-contact probe - can control the slides and / or the carriage motors

• Longitude or transverse weld direction

• Travel speed - between 3 and 300 IPM

• Arcmatic control system can run up to 18 motors.

• Vacuum recycling system.

Subarc Welding

Submerged arc welding (SAW) is a common arc welding process. It requires a continuously feeding of consumable solid or composite electrode. The molten weld and the arc zone are protected from atmospheric contamination by being "submerged" under a blanket of granular fusible flux. This thick layer of flux completely covers the molten metal thus preventing spatter and sparks.

Arcmatic develop the special flavor of standard Subarc:

HD-Subarc (High Deposittion Narrow Gap Subarc)

• Narrow Gap Subarc with 0° to 24° included angle.

• Root opening 5/16” - 7/16”.

• Twin wire torch depositing up to 150 lb/h

• Automatic Probe. Arcmatic developed 3 different models – 1 Contact Probe and 2 non-contact probe models.
